Matoshree Cup 2026 — Karjat Medical Association Cricket Tournament

On February 1, 2026, the Karjat Medical Association successfully organized the Matoshree Cup 2026 cricket tournament at the Kotwalwadi Trust Ground. Dr. Ashutosh, President, along with the entire organization of registered doctor members, made this event a grand success.

Kotwalwadi Trust was proud to provide its cricket ground for this occasion. The event brought together male and female doctors from Neral, Karjat, Kalyan, Panvel, Badlapur, Khopoli and many other clinics, hospitals, and diagnostic centres.

Institutional Briefing & Empowerment Programs

Beyond the sports activities, an impactful institutional briefing was held at Shahid Hall to share our mission of spreading awareness with the rural community. The session provided a platform to showcase our ongoing initiatives in vocational training.

Hon. Sandhya Deosthale (Managing Trustee) and Dr. Dilip Neharkar (Trustee), along with trainers Rajashree Mokashi, Rashmi Dabhilkar (Placement Officer), and Veena Kamble (Computer Trainer) briefed the doctors on our current training programs and placement status.

Key Highlights

  • 160 doctors participated in the cricket tournament

  • 46 doctors signed up for training and awareness programs focused on rural community empowerment

  • Several doctors gave positive responses about our trained girls — our GDA pass-outs are already successfully placed

A vote of thanks was given by Hon. Sandhya Deosthale. We are deeply grateful to the medical fraternity for their valuable insights and continued partnership in our mission of human empowerment.
